City Impact Youth Hub

Delivering engaging, fun, drop-in spaces for young people in Canterbury.

23.11.23: We’re really excited about our plans for a new, purpose built city centre venue for the youth hub. We’re currently waiting to hear the outcome of our planning application and will let you know as soon as we have any news.

The Youth Hub project got off to a great start and the young people attending had a great time each week meeting others their age and hanging out with our amazing team of volunteer leaders. The waffles, milkshakes and hot chocolates were always very popular and the youth who came had a great time playing a range of different games including Pool, Table Tennis, Jenga, Fifa and Minecraft.
McDonalds came along with free food and even the police visited for the odd game of Ping Pong!

It was great to have the same faces come back each week and we loved to welcome new faces too. We opened the Hub to Year 9s as well as Year 7s and 8s, which proved a really popular move.
Sadly we had to move out of our venue so hub sessions had to be suspended, but we're working on our plans for a new purpose built venue - watch this space for news!
